Waiki~ki~ Stroll

On Good Friday, the 2nd of April, I decided to take a stroll through Waiki~ki~ and record the journey....

• Back Entrance to Waiki~ki~ at Kapahulu and Ala Wai
• Diamond Head from the Northwest edge of Kapiolani Park
• Waiki~ki~ Shell, by peeking over the gate
• Waiki~ki~ Zoo entrance
• The Ghandi statue between Kapahulu and the Waiki~ki~ Zoo

  If you entered the doors in the middle and walked thru about 20 feet, you'd be be looking at a wonderful view of the grassy lanai with the beach beyond.

  Kapiolani is the busy cross-street here. Definately cyclist-UNfriendly.

  complete with a subtle view of the 'Controversial' statue of Maui.

• Some paddlers on the eastern edge of 'Magic Island',
  which is part of the Ala Moana beach park, just across the road from...
