I didn't get a picture of them on the way up, but here is what they look like on the way down. There is no "ceiling", so they are open-air. There is 99 of them. I know. I've counted. Some of us have to so that we can keep going. There is an iron handrail on the left here, and another on the right that keeps one away from the drainage ditch (?) built into the concrete.

Going up or coming down, this is by far my LEAST favorite part of the journey.
